The Fastest
This work from 2012 is based on a pattern of previously made ‘paper soldiers lace’. The Fastest is one of a series of works I developed during my first stay at the EKWC, where I learned to work with slip porcelain.
A test of strength
Slip porcelain is a technique that requires extreme control of the material because it dries and breaks quickly. Creating this work was a great challenge and a true test of strength between the maker and the material.
